封面解讀
本封面展示了基于三維堆疊工藝的憶阻器神經(jīng)形態(tài)芯片,其通過原子層沉積技術(shù)實現(xiàn)憶阻器陣列的垂直堆疊與集成,并模擬大腦工作,完成神經(jīng)形態(tài)計算的任務(wù)。隨著晶體管溝道尺寸逐漸逼近其物理極限,現(xiàn)有計算機普遍存在感知存儲計算分離、功耗高等問題,導(dǎo)致神經(jīng)形態(tài)系統(tǒng)的信息處理能效比和認(rèn)知功能復(fù)雜度仍遠(yuǎn)低于生物大腦。基于憶阻器的感存算一體系統(tǒng)能夠?qū)崿F(xiàn)傳感器內(nèi)計算,能夠模擬生物視覺信號直接傳遞至大腦處理的過程,被認(rèn)為是實現(xiàn)類腦智能并且能解決馮諾依曼瓶頸最具潛力的解決方案。
封面文章介紹了憶阻器的逐層沉積制備過程,神經(jīng)形態(tài)計算中儲備池計算算法原理以及憶阻器和儲備池計算的結(jié)合。分別介紹了基于氧化物憶阻器以及二維材料憶阻器用于儲備池計算,構(gòu)建類生物神經(jīng)環(huán)路的信息處理系統(tǒng),可以完成圖像分類、音頻分類以及混沌信號檢測等任務(wù)。展現(xiàn)了基于憶阻器的儲備池計算系統(tǒng)在處理時序任務(wù)時的強大能力以及超低計算功耗。
