7月19日下午，廣州日報新花城記者從廣州海事局獲悉，受臺風“韋帕”影響，廣州港3號區和4號區已掛2號風球。16時起，珠江日夜游停航，廣州的水上客渡航線已經全部停航。
據中央氣象臺預報，“韋帕”逐漸加強，將直接登陸珠三角，臺風環流龐大，覆蓋范圍廣，伴強降雨和強風。
