財聯社4月14日電，日本總務省4月14日公布的2024年10月1日的人口估算結果顯示，日本人口數為1.20296億人，較上年同期減少89.8萬人，包括外國人在內的總人口連續14年減少。都道府縣中人口增加的只有東京和埼玉。
