據外媒derechadiario報道，阿根廷地區正式取消了對使用外幣信用卡在數字游戲平臺消費時征收的30%預扣稅。推主@NotiPlay_也發推稱，阿根廷區玩家在該區PlayStation商店購買游戲將不再被征稅。
據悉，此次政策覆蓋了阿根廷玩家廣泛使用的多個主流平臺，包括戰網、Epic游戲商店、Steam、PlayStation Network、EA Play、微軟商店、暴雪、糖果傳奇、堡壘之夜、任天堂、拳頭游戲、Rockstar Games等多家國際知名游戲平臺。
此前，阿根廷用戶使用美元信用卡在這些海外數字平臺購買游戲、訂閱服務或虛擬內容時，需額外承擔30%的所得稅或資產稅，導致消費成本大幅攀升。新政實施后，阿根廷用戶將直接感受到消費金額的顯著下降。
