據此前阿斯報報道，利物浦愿意為他提前加盟皇馬開綠燈。不過，條件是阿諾德放棄6月份的薪水，這大約是90萬歐元左右。此外，皇馬另外再向利物浦支付低于100萬歐元的賠償金。這樣皇馬就可以提前簽下阿諾德，而利物浦也能得到總計大約150萬至200萬歐元的收益。
