2025年5月27日，中國少年先鋒隊第九次全國代表大會在京開幕。中共中央總書記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習近平發來賀信。

Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, has sent a congratulatory letter to the ninth national congress of the Chinese Young Pioneers (CYP). The congress opened in Beijing on May 27, 2025.

1949年10月13日，中國少年兒童隊誕生，1953年改名為“中國少年先鋒隊”。70多年來，中國少年先鋒隊（以下簡稱“少先隊”）在中國共產黨的領導下，在共青團的帶領下，引領少先隊員繼承革命先輩的事業，不斷成長為社會主義建設者和接班人。

少先隊大、中、小隊基層組織主要設在中小學校。一般以學校為單位建立大隊，以班級為單位成立中隊，中隊下設小隊。小隊由5至13人組成，中隊由兩個以上小隊組成，大隊由兩個以上中隊組成。少先隊員是少先隊組織的主人。凡年滿6周歲、未滿14周歲的中國學生，愿意參加少先隊，愿意遵守隊章，均可向所在學校少先隊組織提出申請，經批準，成為少先隊員。隊員在少先隊組織中有選舉權和被選舉權，對隊的工作和隊的活動有權提出意見和要求。每個隊員都要遵守隊的紀律，服從隊的決議，積極參加隊的活動，做好隊交給的工作，熱心為大家服務。全國和地方各級少先隊工作委員會（以下簡稱“少工委”），是全國和地方少先隊經常性工作的領導機構。

少先隊全國及地方各級代表大會（以下簡稱全國及地方各級“少代會”）是同級少先隊組織的最高權力機構。全國少代會經黨中央批準召開。全國及地方各級少代會代表由少先隊員代表、輔導員代表、共青團和教育工作者代表、社會各界人士代表組成。全國少代會每五年召開一次。主要任務包括：貫徹黨中央的指示、要求；落實團中央和教育部的部署；審議和通過全國少工委工作報告；討論并決定少先隊的重大事項；可以修改隊的章程；選舉產生新一屆全國少工委。

On the new journey ahead, the CYP must hold high its banner and steadfastly follow the Party, focusing on their fundamental mission of cultivating successors to the communist cause. It should be committed to fostering qualified builders of socialism with Chinese characteristics, educating and guiding its members to strive to be exemplary youths of the new era who love the Party and the country, and are diligent in their studies and well-rounded in their development. It is essential to comprehensively strengthen the Party's leadership over the work of the CYP, solidify the responsibility of the Communist Youth League of China (CYLC) in leading the organization, and create a favorable environment and conditions for the healthy growth of children. These measures will drive the continuous advancement of the CYP.
