美國(guó)籃球記者M(jìn)ike Scotto報(bào)道，國(guó)王隊(duì)已經(jīng)開(kāi)始在交易市場(chǎng)上兜售球隊(duì)的馬利克·蒙克和德文·卡特。國(guó)王管理層表達(dá)了獲得2025年NBA選秀首輪簽的意愿，在此過(guò)程中，他們開(kāi)始評(píng)估蒙克和卡特二人的交易前景。
蒙克上個(gè)賽季場(chǎng)均拿到17.2分5.6次助攻和3.8個(gè)籃板。卡特在新秀賽季一共只打了36場(chǎng)比賽，場(chǎng)均3.8分。
