這一成績不僅刷新了賽事歷史，還成為本賽季該項目世界最佳成績，距離現世界紀錄12秒80僅差0.07秒。
廷奇的12秒87使其成為男子110米欄歷史上第七位跑進12.90秒的運動員，同時是首位突破該成績的“00后”選手。這一成績在歷史排名中與古巴名將羅伯斯并列第四位，僅次于梅里特（12.80）、霍洛威（12.81）和艾倫（12.84）。
