當地時間5月24日，諾沃亞在厄瓜多爾首都基多宣誓就職，出任厄瓜多爾新一屆總統。
當地時間4月13日，厄瓜多爾舉行總統選舉第二輪投票。4月19日晚，厄瓜多爾選舉委員會正式宣布選舉結果，"全國民主行動運動"候選人、現任總統諾沃亞贏得大選，獲得連任，任期至2029年。（總臺記者 鄧雪梅）
