The total expenditure,however,saw a continuous risefrom ￡56,000 to ￡62,000 over the 3 years,narrowing the gap with the total income.As a consequence, the overall profitfell considerablyfrom ￡27,500 to ￡22,000.

Regarding specific revenue sources, we can find thatroom-rental incomeincreased slightlyfrom ￡34,000 to ￡35,000 during the first two years,before droppingremarkably to￡32,000 in Year 3.Conversely,there was a modest decline inincome from running the Café, falling from ￡3,500 in Year 1 to ￡3,000 in Year 2,followed by a noticeable increaseof ￡1,000 in Year 3.As for funding, the local council donated ￡22,000 annually for the initial 2 years,after whichthis figuredipped marginallyto ￡21,000 in the subsequent year.In comparison, funding from other sourcessteadily increasedfrom ￡24,000 to ￡27,000 over the 3 years.
