On the Pacific coast of Nayarit, Mexico, Manuel Cervantes Estudio and James Perse jointly created Brandilera House, with the core concept of "disappearing architecture and highlighting nature". On 3,600 square meters of land, concrete, wood and vegetation are used to weave a living poem that coexists with the coastline. This resort residence, which consists of nine suites, social spaces and spa facilities, breaks the boundaries between architecture and nature, making the magnificent sea view of the Pacific Ocean the eternal background of daily life.
在墨西哥納亞里特的太平洋沿岸,Manuel Cervantes Estudio 與 James Perse 聯(lián)手打造的布蘭迪萊拉住宅(Brandilera House),以 “消隱建筑,凸顯自然” 為核心理念,在 3600 平方米的土地上,用混凝土、木材與植被編織出與海岸線共生的居住詩篇。這座由九間套房、社交空間與水療設(shè)施組成的度假宅邸,打破建筑與自然的界限,讓太平洋的壯闊海景成為日常生活的永恒背景。
The residence condenses the soul of space with a "centripetal layout": the central courtyard is like a natural theater, retaining the native vegetation while introducing an infinity pool overlooking the sea. The building blocks are distributed in a fan shape around the courtyard, and the floor-to-ceiling windows of each suite are aimed at the junction of the sea and the sky, forming a visual penetration of "every room has a view, and every step can see the sea". The ground of the courtyard is made of volcanic stone fragments, and drought-resistant herbs are planted in the gaps. When walking barefoot, you can feel the subtle dialogue between natural texture and artificial craftsmanship.
住宅以 “向心式布局” 凝聚空間靈魂:中央庭院如自然劇場,保留原生植被的同時(shí),引入可俯瞰海景的無邊際泳池。建筑體塊圍繞庭院呈扇形分布,每間套房的落地窗均對(duì)準(zhǔn)海天交界處,形成 “室室有景,步步見海” 的視覺滲透。庭院地面采用火山石碎拼工藝,縫隙間種植耐旱草本,赤腳行走時(shí)可感受自然肌理與人工工藝的微妙對(duì)話。
The corridors connecting the buildings are designed as "landscape tunnels": the porches made of concrete arches frame specific sea views, like dynamic picture frames; the wooden plank road passes through the cactus and palm forest, and suddenly opens up at the end, with the azure blue of the sea rushing in. This "freely retractable" dynamic line design is in line with the "mysterious" narrative of traditional Mexican courtyards, making each transition a new encounter with nature.
連接各建筑的廊道被設(shè)計(jì)為 “景觀隧道”:混凝土拱券構(gòu)成的門廊框架住特定海景,如同一幅幅動(dòng)態(tài)畫框;木質(zhì)棧道穿越仙人掌群與棕櫚林,盡頭突然開闊,大海的湛藍(lán)撲面而來。這種 “收放自如” 的動(dòng)線設(shè)計(jì),暗合墨西哥傳統(tǒng)庭院的 “神秘感” 敘事,讓每一次轉(zhuǎn)場都成為與自然的重新相遇。
The building's exterior walls are made of exposed aggregate concrete, and the rough surface retains the natural texture of gravel particles, echoing the texture of coastal rocks; the interior walls are treated with delicate cement plastering and matched with warm gray mineral paint to create a "hard outside and soft inside" tactile contrast. The concrete base at the edge of the swimming pool is deliberately not polished, so that moss and algae can naturally attach, forming a unique "marine life graffiti" over time.
建筑外墻采用露骨料混凝土,粗糲的表面保留著碎石顆粒的天然紋理,與海岸巖石形成材質(zhì)呼應(yīng);室內(nèi)墻面則以細(xì)膩的水泥抹灰處理,搭配暖灰色礦物涂料,營造 “外剛內(nèi)柔” 的觸感反差。泳池邊緣的混凝土臺(tái)基故意不做拋光,苔蘚與藻類可自然附著,隨時(shí)間推移形成獨(dú)特的 “海洋生物涂鴉”。
The door and window frames and custom furniture are made of local walnut, and the undyed natural wood grain forms a color contrast with the concrete. The L-shaped sofa in the living room is made of a wooden frame with linen fabrics. The wooden columns at the corners retain tree knots, and the hand-polished rounded edges convey a natural touch. The four-poster bed in the bedroom is cut from a whole tree trunk, and the headboard is embedded with conch shell decorations, which is in line with the design theme of "Gifts from the Ocean".
門窗框與定制家具選用當(dāng)?shù)睾夷荆唇?jīng)染色的天然木紋與混凝土形成色彩對(duì)沖。客廳的 L 型沙發(fā)以木質(zhì)框架搭配亞麻布藝,轉(zhuǎn)角處的木柱保留樹結(jié),手工打磨的圓潤邊緣傳遞自然觸感;臥室的四柱床以整根樹干剖切而成,床頭板嵌入海螺殼裝飾,暗合 “海洋饋贈(zèng)” 的設(shè)計(jì)主題。
The open living room and dining room use a "full floor-to-ceiling glass curtain wall" to eliminate the boundary, and the fully foldable glass door allows for a seamless connection between the interior and the exterior. The dining table is cast with a whole surface of epoxy resin, with shells and coral fragments sealed inside, and paired with wooden benches, it's like moving the beach scene indoors. The kitchen island is prefabricated with concrete, with an induction cooker and a seafood sink embedded in the countertop, so the chef can enjoy the sea view while cooking, and the fumes are discharged through invisible pipes on the ceiling to keep the view pure.
開放式客廳與餐廳以 “全落地玻璃幕墻” 消隱邊界,可完全折疊的玻璃門使室內(nèi)外無縫銜接。餐桌采用整面環(huán)氧樹脂澆筑,內(nèi)部封存著貝殼與珊瑚碎片,搭配木質(zhì)條凳,宛如將海灘場景搬入室內(nèi)。廚房島臺(tái)以混凝土預(yù)制而成,臺(tái)面嵌入電磁爐與海鮮料理水槽,廚師可邊烹飪邊欣賞海景,油煙通過天花板的隱形管道排出,保持視野純凈。
The nine suites are all designed with the concept of "sea view meditation cabin": the headboard wall of the master bedroom is made of wavy wooden grilles, through which the sun shines through the grilles and casts sparkling shadows on the bedding; the bathroom is built with volcanic stone to form a sunken bathtub, and you can look out at the sunset through the floor-to-ceiling windows while taking a bath. The balcony of the guest room is equipped with a hanging hammock, the bracket of which is transformed from driftwood. Lying on the hammock at night, you can listen to the sound of waves and crickets interweaving, as if you are suspended between the sea and the sky.
九間套房均以 “海景冥想艙” 為設(shè)計(jì)概念:主臥床頭墻采用波浪形木質(zhì)格柵,陽光透過格柵在床品上投下粼粼光影;浴室以火山石砌成下沉式浴缸,泡澡時(shí)可通過落地窗遠(yuǎn)眺落日。客房的陽臺(tái)設(shè)置懸掛式吊床,支架由漂流木改造而成,夜晚躺在吊床上,聽海浪聲與蟋蟀鳴叫交織,仿佛懸浮于海天之間。
The ultimate proposition of Brandilella House is to explore "how humans live modestly on the coast" - it rejects flashy decorations, and uses the simplicity of concrete, the warmth of wood, and the lushness of vegetation to outline a container for dialogue with the Pacific Ocean. Here, architecture is not a plunderer of the scenery, but a blank space of nature: when the concrete wall provides ears to listen to the roar of the waves, when the wooden plank road makes way for the migration of crabs, and when the floor-to-ceiling windows become a picture frame for the soaring seagulls, the design has completed the transformation from "building a house" to "cultivating ecology". As the designer said: "The best architecture is to make the residents forget the existence of the building, and only remember the shape of the wind, the smell of the sea, and the temperature of the sun falling on the skin." This house proves with a silent gesture: true luxury is the courage and wisdom to coexist with nature.
布蘭迪萊拉住宅的終極命題,是探討 “人類如何謙遜地棲居于海岸”—— 它拒絕浮華的裝飾,以混凝土的素樸、木材的溫潤、植被的蔥郁,勾勒出與太平洋對(duì)話的容器。在這里,建筑不是風(fēng)景的掠奪者,而是自然的留白:當(dāng)混凝土墻為海浪的咆哮提供傾聽的耳朵,當(dāng)木質(zhì)棧道為螃蟹的遷徙讓出路徑,當(dāng)落地窗成為海鷗翱翔的畫框,設(shè)計(jì)便完成了從 “建造房屋” 到 “培育生態(tài)” 的蛻變。正如設(shè)計(jì)師所言:“最好的建筑,是讓居住者忘記建筑的存在,只記得風(fēng)的形狀、海的味道,以及陽光落在皮膚上的溫度。” 這座宅邸用沉默的姿態(tài)證明:真正的奢華,是與自然共生的勇氣與智慧。
