遼寧撫順礦業(yè)集團(tuán)有限責(zé)任公司西露天礦于2019年6月正式退煤閉坑，由采轉(zhuǎn)治。
6年來(lái)，公司先后投入資金實(shí)施復(fù)墾綠化、生態(tài)恢復(fù)工程，使這個(gè)垂直深度超過(guò)400米、面積1.6萬(wàn)畝的巨大礦坑逐步變成綠樹(shù)成蔭的花園，生態(tài)修復(fù)成效顯著。
