北京時間6月11日，知名記者大衛-奧恩斯坦在天空體育的一檔節目中表示，利物浦方面表示尚未與維爾茨達成協議。
大衛-奧恩斯坦說道：“那些報道維爾茨轉會已達成協議的人確實值得肯定，但俱樂部方面的說法并非如此，他們稱目前尚未達成協議。”
據此前知名記者羅馬諾消息，利物浦將簽下維爾茨，總轉會費1.5億歐元，這筆交易已經是一筆可以Here we go的交易了。
