6月15日凌晨，廣東茂名信宜市貴子鎮中和村干部劉名芳在巡查中及時發現并上報異常。村鎮各級干部立即行動，在兩小時內轉移57名村民，成功避開一小時后發生的山體滑坡，實現了“零傷亡”。20日，中共茂名市委授予劉名芳“茂名市優秀共產黨員”榮譽稱號，授予信宜市貴子鎮中和村黨支部“茂名市先進基層黨組織”。
