據中央氣象臺消息，南海熱帶低壓于6月25日下午生成，14時其中心位于距離海南省三沙市（西沙永興島）東北方向約130公里的海面上，中心附近最大風力6級（12米/秒）。
預計，熱帶低壓將以每小時20至25公里的速度向西北方向移動，強度變化不大。
