因抗議特朗普政府的移民政策并涉嫌試圖強行進入一所最新開設(shè)的移民拘留中心，美國新澤西州最大城市紐瓦克市市長拉斯?巴拉卡當(dāng)?shù)貢r間5月9日下午被執(zhí)法人員逮捕。數(shù)小時后，巴拉卡獲釋。當(dāng)?shù)貢r間5月10日，巴拉卡否認(rèn)了“非法闖入”移民拘留中心的指控。
