科普巡講活動上，中國極地研究中心極地海洋學研究員、自然資源部極地科學重點實驗室副主任雷瑞波介紹了極地考察的意義和中國極地考察的成就。第19次中國南極考察隨隊記者、上海市文創辦專職副主任強熒分享了他的探險經歷和人生感悟。知名媒體人于其多作為圓桌論壇主持人，與兩位主講嘉賓及中國極地研究中心“雪龍”號船長張旭德就“低碳環保和我們的綠色生活方式”進行了探討。嘉賓們交流了對環境變化的關注和洞見，倡導公眾踐行低碳生活方式。淮海中路街道等單位的代表和安利環保志愿者共百余人在現場聆聽了這場巡講。

1984年，中國首次南極科學考察隊抵達南極洲。41年來，中國極地考察事業歷經了艱辛，也收獲了眾多成果。由于極地的生態環境異常敏感，根據《南極環保協定》，南極考察的生活用水須經生化處理達標后才能排放到海洋中。因此，南極對清潔用品的要求極為嚴苛——不能含磷和其他有害環境的成分，還要在低溫下可快速生物降解。由于安利的環保理念和中國極地考察的理念一致，安利產品的環保特性符合極地科考要求，2002年8月，安利（中國）正式與中國極地考察隊牽手。至今，共有“安利優生活”“麗齒健”“雅蜜”“絲婷”“必速”等一系列安利產品成為“中國南北極考察選用產品”。

2003年，考慮到科考隊員在極端惡劣的自然環境中保持身體健康的迫切需要，安利開始向中國極地考察隊提供紐崔萊營養食品。從此，中國南北極考察站和“雪龍號”考察船上，全面啟用安利的清潔產品和營養食品。隨著雙方合作的深入，2008年，中國第25次南極科考隊起航前，“安利優生活環保屋”落戶雪龍船。2014和2015年，南極中山站、長城站也相繼有了溫馨的“安利環保小屋”。2019年7月，中國第一艘自主建造的極地科考破冰船“雪龍2”號交付使用，“安利優生活環保屋”落戶該船。

為了讓更多的人了解極地、愛護地球，合作伊始，安利就邀請極地專家到全國各地開展公益科普巡講。20多年來，共有28位極地專家到全國89個城市進行了243場演講，線下、線上共有近60萬人次聆聽了“來自極地的聲音”。
