地球上的氧氣，有50%來自海洋，

海洋提供了淡水的循環和運動，

海洋為人類提供了大量的蛋白質資源，

海洋是生命的起源，

是地球文明的搖籃。

我們總認為海洋的資源取之不盡，

我們總認為海洋的能量取之不竭，

人類的欲望比海洋更大

藍色的海洋已經被人類的活動傷害，

海水變暖、酸度增加、冰川融化、白色污染……

海洋在哭泣。

我們的命運與海洋緊密相連，

海洋是地球生命的起源，

傷害海洋，

就是傷害我們自己的家園。

請盡快行動起來，如果我們不保護海洋，

海洋就不能再保護我們。

It also jeopardizes theliving conditions of many animals, such as global warming, melting glaciers,and rising water levels, making Arctic animals unable to survive normally. These are all caused by human activities suchas littering, killing animals, and excreting waste water and smoke. The animals were extremely angry and wantedto stop the actions of human beings, but human beings still insisted on goingtheir own way. The animals were extremely desperate and the environment wasgradually deteriorating. But humanbeings can make choices. We can choose to go our own way, or we can choose touse actions to improve the environment. The beautiful world is right in front of us, but we need to make goodchoices.

The Withered

As the sealevel rises around the globe, the risks and potential dangers carretedalongside shifts closer and closer to our daily lives. Scientists and manyspecialistis have envisioned and projected the potential effects and sightsthat would respectively make their “entrances” to the scene and stage we livein. In this ornament/ figure, I chose to recreate a refurbished and moisty roomthat follows the numerous descriptions and visions I’ve read online. The wallswere intentionally made green, dilapedated, and nasty with watercolor paintsand gridded;d the floors covered with sand. The center of attention for this“room” is the pearl white instrument located dead center in the room. I used aresin and clay polymer to mold this so-called bathtub and metallic wire forstructural support. The bold ends and open holes were intentional as it addsmore suspense and a tiresome and sullen feel to the room. Some smallpieces of plant remnents and ornaments scatter the room and dried glue dripsdown from the walls. With this piece, I wish to raise the awareness of thepotential dangers of rising sea levels as it indeed will affect our lives inthe near future.

In the painting, the ecological balance istransformed into an unbalanced libra. The left plate sinks slightly, and thereis a pearl representing money and desire in the plate; the right plate tiltsslightly upward, and in the plate is a candle representing hope and warmth. Themonster dragons around represent malicious people. The climate crisis is aproblem for all mankind. People have become more and more aware of theimportance of climate. Now that the Eastern Hemisphere is entering summer and the climate is hot, many people like to go to the beach for vacation and enjoy the good time in the ocean. People cannot live without all industrialized products such as air conditioners and automobiles. The increase in carbon dioxide has led to the greenhouse effect and the melting of polar glaciers.

Seeing this heart-wrenching phenomenon, as a student, I have to think about it. So I created this work, the purpose is to warn mankind: beware of what you do!

The ocean is vast and mysterious, which makes me yearn for and makes me feel perilous. Teachers and news media often say that global warming causes sea levels to rise, which will inundate some countries, such as the Maldives. Perhaps it was to avoid disaster, that persistence and belief inspired me to complete the work.

My work depicts when a disaster strikes, lightning flashes, squally winds, and sea waves are surging. The beautiful homes that mankind depend on for survival are in chaos, flooded buildings, ships...this is the tomb of mankind.

The sea level rose rapidly and was about to submerge the Statue of Liberty. She still stretched out her hands to guide people. The hands of the disaster-stricken humans struggled desperately at the last moment of despair and were unable to get rid of it. Humans suffered from their own evil consequences... This is my thinking about the future, and it is also a nightmare for all mankind!

I call on all mankind to actively raise awareness of environmental protection and protect our marine environment from now on. As a student, I would like to call on all mankind to protect the environment from myself and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. I believe that our ocean will be blue and beautiful in the future!

This work is called "n + 1erosion" and is painted by procreate. Because I learned the knowledge ofwater rising and had deep thinking, which inspired my creation. Water rising isa phenomenon of global warming.
