在悠悠的通揚(yáng)運(yùn)河河畔，有一個(gè)百年工業(yè)古鎮(zhèn)，她叫唐閘。

There is a century old industrial town by the Tongyang Canal,she is called Tangzha.

在這個(gè)百年工業(yè)古鎮(zhèn)里，人們每天都能聽(tīng)到那清脆而悠揚(yáng)的鐘聲，鐘聲悠悠傳揚(yáng)了一百多年。

People can hear the clear and melodious bell every day in this town and the bell has been spread for more than 100 years.

1895年，清末狀元張謇在這里建造了我國(guó)近代最大的紗廠，這就是延續(xù)生產(chǎn)百年的大生紗廠。

In 1895,Zhang Jian,the number one scholar in the late Qing Dynasty, built the largest yarn factory in modern China here ,which is the Dasheng Mill that has continued producing for a hundred years.

大生紗廠的大門(mén)口，有一個(gè)高大的鐘樓，那是1915年張謇留下的珍貴文物。

There is a tall bell town ,which is precious cultural relic left by Zhang Jian in 1915 at the gate of the Dasheng Mill.

鐘聲悠悠，記錄著我們南通紡織業(yè)的興衰歷史。

The sound of the bell records the rise and fall of Nantong textile industry .

鐘聲悠悠，記錄著我們南通幾代人的艱苦歲月。

It records the hard times of several generations in Nantong.

鐘聲悠悠，刻錄著我們青少年一代對(duì)一座工業(yè)古鎮(zhèn)的認(rèn)知，對(duì)先賢們的崇敬和追憶。

It also records the younger generation’s understanding of an industrial town,the honor and reminiscences about the town.

鐘聲悠悠，傳向遠(yuǎn)方，傳向未來(lái)！

The melodies bell will spread to the distance places and to the future.
