此前有報道稱曼聯正在和路易斯-坎波斯進行談判，不過這種說法遭到了否認。
來自GiveMeSport記者本-雅各布斯的消息表示，路易斯-坎波斯仍然在就和巴黎圣日耳曼之間的新合同進行談判。盡管有相關的傳聞，但他不會成為曼聯或是切爾西的選擇。
路易斯-坎波斯與巴黎圣日耳曼的合同會在今年夏天到期，目前他的未來還沒有定論。
