多名外交官表示，歐盟國家當地時間5月20日已批準解除對敘利亞的所有經濟制裁。
上述外交官稱，歐盟27個成員國的駐歐盟大使已就解除制裁達成初步協(xié)議，該協(xié)議預計將于20日晚些時候在布魯塞爾舉行的歐盟外長會議上正式公布。
此前，歐盟理事會2月24日曾發(fā)布新聞公告，宣布暫停針對敘利亞關鍵經濟領域的限制措施，以支持敘利亞包容性政治過渡以及經濟復蘇、重建和穩(wěn)定。歐盟理事會當時表示，將繼續(xù)評估敘局勢，并考慮是否進一步調整對敘制裁。
