6月2日，據日媒報道，石川佳純采訪中表示：吉村真晴比賽時我發消息為他加油，他回‘會努力的！’
石川佳純說道：“比賽中我也發去消息，我說‘加油’，他回‘會努力的！’，我特別開心。吉村選手做了七年左右的混雙搭檔，我們是只差一年級的同齡人，即便我退役后他仍在堅持，這讓我深受鼓舞。”
吉村真晴/石川佳純曾在2017年世錦賽（德國杜塞爾多夫）混雙比賽中，摘得金牌。
