北京時間6月6日，據意大利記者尼科洛-斯基拉消息，阿森納已經在爭奪首席球探主管馬泰奧-托尼奧齊一事上領先尤文圖斯，后者原本在兩周前與托尼奧齊達成原則性協議，但目前已開始考慮其他候選人。
斯基拉稱，托尼奧齊如今已經準備接受阿森納的邀請，雙方有望簽下一份至2028年的長期合同。據悉，阿森納此舉也是俱樂部持續優化引援體系的重要步驟之一。
