6月7日深夜11時40分許，肇慶市懷集縣公安局接到一考生家長緊急求助：其兒子因意外導致腳部受傷，次日需參加高考，難以獨自完成接送任務。
接到求助后，城東派出所民警第一時間與考生家長取得聯系并開展護考行動。將考生安全、準時送到考場，并背其上到考室所在的3樓。
