小知識
比目魚的雙眼生長在身體同一側，這一特點并非與生俱來。在仔魚期，它們的眼睛對稱地位于頭部兩側。而隨著發育，一只眼睛移動到頭部的另一側，比目魚以無眼側在下，“側臥”于海底。這樣既便于觀察環境，又能避免眼睛被泥沙磨損。
