此前，據多名記者報道，德布勞內即將以自由球員的身份轉會加盟那不勒斯，并與那不勒斯簽約2年，合同中包含一年的附加續約選項。
上賽季，德布勞內共為曼城出場40次，打進6球，送出8次助攻。
