6月23日，作者在儀征北郊拍攝到了美麗的壽帶鳥雄鳥。
壽帶與長壽諧音，常常出現在國畫家的畫面中。
壽帶鳥以它的長尾而著稱，在繁殖期，長尾由平時身長的一倍變為兩倍，是一種顯示威嚴達到自衛的生理現象。
