中國

撥穗禮是傳統環節，畢業典禮上導師會為畢業生將學位帽上的流蘇從右側撥到左側，象征“畢業”，如今畢業生們也開始花式整活，開香檳、拉橫幅、臉頰比心，打個“這么近那么美周末到河北”的小廣告，校長和導師看似沒動，實則運動量早達標了。畢業照創意也層出不窮，cos表情包版、復刻影視劇經典版，主打一個畢業照沒有必要太正常。畢業生們在學位服diy這一塊也已經next level，加入云肩、簪花、盤扣等傳統元素，拍攝“新中式”畢業照，出片率100%。

泰國：

王室頒發證書：公立大學的學生畢業時，會由王室成員親自頒發畢業證書，畢業典禮前三四天，畢業生要提前練習復雜的典禮動作，確保儀式的莊嚴規范。畢業生必須穿正式的長袍內搭該校校服，女士需穿絲襪和樸素的黑色平底鞋，男士頭發要整齊。

系白繩：源自泰國文化中的“?????????” 或 “?????????” 儀式，在畢業典禮上為畢業生系上白繩，表達祝福。

菲律賓：在畢業典禮上，畢業生的家人和朋友會為其送上由鮮花、鈔票和小禮物制成的花環和花束，寓意著好運和成功。

英國：

隆重的典禮：畢業典禮一般在學校或當地大禮堂舉行，地點富有歷史感。

扔帽子儀式：典禮后，大家會在禮堂外和校園里合影，并舉行傳統的扔帽子儀式，象征著日后的事業蒸蒸日上。

畢業晚宴與派對：學生會舉辦畢業晚餐、瘋狂派對和盛大的晚會，畢業生們精心打扮、盛裝出席。

芬蘭：

佩劍傳統：博士畢業生獲準佩劍參加畢業典禮，劍象征著正義、真理、科學自由和言論自由以及“不屈不撓的斗爭精神”。

磨劍儀式：在正式畢業典禮的前一晚，會舉行傳統的“磨劍” 儀式，準博士們會帶上第二天才會被正式授予的劍，在由他人轉動的手動磨刀石上磨自己的劍。

意大利：

月桂花環：源于古羅馬時期，畢業當天學生頭戴月桂花環，手拿香檳，象征“勝利者”，體現對知識和成就的尊重。

扔垃圾傳統：典禮后，親朋好友會把生雞蛋、奶油、酒、面粉、醬汁等撒在畢業生身上，慶祝畢業學成歸來。

瑞典：瑞典式畢業典禮中最具特色的是畢業帽“studentm?ssa”，一般是白底黑條，一些學校會使用不同顏色的帽子來區分不同專業的畢業生。畢業季家長還會舉著貼有畢業生小時候照片的自制牌子在校外等候，進行 “甜蜜的小戲弄”。

美國：

斯坦福大學“古怪之旅”：：畢業生參加“古怪之旅”（Wacky Walk），裝扮成獨角獸、恐龍、宇航員甚至行走的披薩餅，以夸張造型慶祝畢業

普林斯頓大學“臺階演唱”：延續250多年的“臺階演唱”（Step Sing），畢業生合唱經典歌曲，邀請校友和觀眾共同參與

史密斯學院證書傳遞：畢業證書會隨機發放，學生需要聚在一起圍成同心圓，交換證書，直到找到自己的那一份，不少人還會在傳遞過程中留下匿名祝福信息。

圣母大學裝飾畢業帽：建筑學院畢業生會將各式各樣的建筑模型裝飾在畢業帽上，展示自己的專業技能。

巴特勒大學“跳噴泉”：“跳噴泉” 是校園文化中的經典保留項目，很多學生畢業前會挑戰跳入校內的五大噴泉。。

弗吉尼亞大學彩色氣球：畢業生會攜帶符合自己興趣和愛好的氣球參加畢業典禮，在黑色畢業服的海洋中，色彩鮮明的氣球成為獨特又難忘的元素。
