5月13日，網友稱重慶萬州一商場女廁所被裝攝像頭，記者多方核實獲悉，網傳事發地不實。該商場物業工作人員告訴記者，商場內部廁所已多次排查，未發現攝像頭。記者從重慶警方處獲悉，事發地為萬州港一處公共廁所。目前嫌疑人已被抓獲，案件正在辦理中。
