據越南媒體6月16日報道，越南政府13日批準在位于該國中部的直轄市峴港市設立越南首個自貿區。據報道，峴港自貿區面積約1881公頃，涵蓋生產、物流、貿易服務、數字產業、信息技術等多個功能區。峴港高科技園區和各工業區管理委員會被指定為直接履行國家管理職能的機構。（新華社）
