好消息，靚仔靚女看過來，中國廣東荔枝季正式開啟。這里是地處廣東中西部的云浮，荔枝品種豐富。

其中一款是近年來推廣種植的全新品種“圣糯”，它呈心形紅色，膚如凝脂，清甜爽脆無渣，有人說它取名“圣糯”有“圣潔的承諾”之意，像極了不渝之愛。

另外一款龐寨黑葉荔枝，因荔枝種植起源于龐寨村，其葉色濃綠近黑，故稱龐寨黑葉荔枝。它肉質堅實，去殼后用紙包住過夜不濕，距今已有500多年的種植歷史。

還有一款“新興香荔”，據說千年前就已經扎根于這片沃土。此果體態纖細，果香馥郁，是云浮著名特產、嶺南十大佳果之一、中國國家地理標志產品。作為古代宮廷貢品的新興香荔曾遠銷莫斯科，也在法國巴黎國際博覽會上備受好評。新興國恩寺后山有棵香荔樹被譽為“佛荔”。如果大家有興趣來云浮體驗禪文化，那么這棵廣東名樹是不可錯過的。

“一騎紅塵妃子笑，無人知是荔枝來。”杜牧筆下的荔枝見證過刻骨銘心的愛情；“日啖荔枝三百顆，不辭長作嶺南人。”蘇軾口中的荔枝化作了無數食客的心頭好；“世間珍果更無加，玉雪肌膚罩絳紗。”丘濬心里的荔枝是對家鄉故土深深的眷戀。云浮的這種奇妙佳果能喚起你的哪種情愫，期待朋友們來此嘗鮮后的答案。

Good news! Everyone. The lychee season in Guangdong, China has officially begun.Yunfu, located in the central-western part of Guangdong, has a rich variety of lychees.

The "Shengnuo" lychee, a brand-new one, has been newly promoted for cultivation. It is a heart-shaped fruit with bright red skin. Its smooth and jade-like flesh is sweet, crisp, and soft, almost without fiber in every bite. Some say its name, "Shengnuo", carries the meaning of "sacred promise", symbolizing eternal love.

Another variety is the Pangzhai Black Leaf Lychee -- named after Pangzhai village, the origin of its cultivation. With leaves that are deep green, approaching dark, that's why this name was given. The lychee's firm flesh locks in moisture so well that even when shelled and wrapped in tissue overnight, the wrapping stays dry. Pangzhai Black Leaf Lychee has been cultivated for more than 500 years.

And there is also another variety called Xinxing Aroma Lychee, which is said to have taken root in this fertile land a thousand years ago. Slender in shape and rich in fragrance, this lychee is a famous specialty of Yunfu, one of the top ten excellent fruits in Lingnan, and a product bearing the China National Geographical Indication. As a tribute to ancient imperial courts, Xinxing Aroma Lychee was once exported to Moscow and received high acclaim at the Paris International Exposition. It is said that there is a tree of aroma lychee on the back hill of Guo'en Temple in Xinxing, which is known as the "Buddha Lychee". If you are interested in experiencing Chan culture in Yunfu, this famous tree of Guangdong is a must-see.

"A steed raising red dust won the fair mistress' smiles. How many steeds bringing her fruit died on the run! " Lychees in Du Mu's poem is a witness of an unforgettable love; " To enjoy the lychees as much as I want, I am willing to be a Lingnan person forever." Lychees, highly recommended by Su Shi, became a favourite for countless diners; "No other fruit can compare with it, the one has snow-white flesh covered with red gauze."
