據新華社消息，北京市人民政府天安門地區管理委員會2025年4月28日發布通告稱，天安門城樓自2025年5月6日起暫停對外開放，以進行設備維護和檢修工作。目前，天安門城樓的施工圍擋已經拆除，重新亮相，但恢復開放時間另行通告。
