面對未知世界,回歸教育本質!9月17日,2023中歐校友未來教育論壇重磅開啟。中歐校方、校友,以及來自教育行業(yè)專家齊聚,直面對話,全方位、多視角、深層次地探索教育的更多可能性。
未來世界總是在變化發(fā)展著的,如何提高孩子們的創(chuàng)新、適應、合作、包容和責任等核心素質?如何讓孩子們?yōu)槲磥砩鐣奶魬?zhàn)和機遇預備?
天華英澳美校長柏萍女士受邀出席了2023中歐校友未來教育論壇·圓桌論壇,以「面向不確定未來的教育:培養(yǎng)有韌性的全球公民」為主題,與多位教育界大咖一起深度探討如何培養(yǎng)學生的全球視野和文化包容性、更加促進孩子們成長為具有國際競爭力的全球公民。
除了柏萍校長外,圓桌論壇也邀請了威雅學校管理委員會委員、常州威雅 執(zhí)行校長—Paul Silverwood、上海惠靈頓外籍人員子女學校副校長—楊永珍、上海新加坡外籍人員子女學校總校長—David Shirley,以及特邀主持人歐德資本創(chuàng)始合伙人、中歐EMBA2012博凡。

教育是面向世界的、面向未來的
教育是面向世界的、面向未來的,未來領袖應該具有的能力和素養(yǎng)包括:國際視野和跨文化交流的能力,具有創(chuàng)造力和創(chuàng)新精神、具有終身學習能力、具良好品格和社會責任感以及強大的自律能力等。
In my opinion ,education should be world-oriented and future-oriented, and the abilities and qualities that future leaders should possess include: international vision, cross-cultural communication ability, creativity and innovative spirit, lifelong learning ability, good character, sense of social responsibility, and strong self-discipline etc.

The simultaneous setting of curriculum among the three global campuses and the free shifting of students among the three countries are of great significance to enhance students' global vision, enrich their practical experience, and strengthen their academic research ability. Many world-renowned education institutes such as New York University, France's ESCP, Shrewsbury at UK, all provide students with a global learning network. Through the study and exchange among campuses in different countries and regions, students absorb and understand different cultural and academic concepts, and learn from teachers and classmates with different backgrounds from all over the world, which has a very important practical significance and long-term impact on enhancing cultural understanding and respect, improving the research of international cooperation projects, and enhancing the depth and breadth of learning.
我也相信,BANZ的上海、新加坡、英國的全球化布局,也將進一步提升學校的知名度和影響力,有助于我們吸引更多優(yōu)秀的學生和教師。在這一方面我們有深刻的體會。疫情前,BANZ深入全球各地引進優(yōu)秀教師,引入了像美國富布萊特學者、雅思巡回考官、英國功勛物理學家、伊拉莫斯基金終審評委等諸多領袖級教師加盟BANZ。他們的到來不僅僅是學校教與學品質的提升,更對學校教育的底層邏輯、教學方法、評估模式產生了變革性的影響。
I also believe that BANZ's global presence in Shanghai, Singapore and the United Kingdom will further enhance the visibility and influence of the school and help us attract more outstanding students and teachers. We are very confident in this regard. Before the epidemic, BANZ has recruited and attracted many high-end leading teachers, such as Fulbright scholars in the United States, IELTS roving examiners, British merit-based physicists, and senior expert of the Final review committee of Erasmus+ programme to join BANZ. Their arrival is not only the improvement of school teaching and learning quality, but also has a transformative impact on the underlying logic of school education system, teaching methods, and evaluation models.

教育:回歸本質VS深挖創(chuàng)新
近幾年來,隨著人工智能、大數據、物聯(lián)網這些技術與教育深入融合,特別是ChatGPT這樣“生成式的人工智能”的出現,對于傳統(tǒng)教育的將產生顛覆性的變革。我也深刻體會到現在的孩子是數字時代的原住民,他們對于數字化、智能化教學的適應,比我們這代人更加得心應手,也遠比我們想象的更加游刃有余。疫情下,BANZ通過大數據為學生的學習過程進行畫像,為學生創(chuàng)設了“自適應”學習系統(tǒng),可以說BANZ的教育已經走入了計算教育的時代。大數據、人工智能讓教育更加精準、科學、高效,更加注重創(chuàng)新,更加注重效率,這是未來學校不可回避的問題。
In recent years, with the deep integration of artificial intelligence, big data ,Internet of Things with education, especially the emergence of "generative artificial intelligence" such as ChatGPT, the traditional education will have a subversive change. I also deeply understand that today's children are the natives of the digital age, and their adaptation to digital and intelligent teaching is more comfortable than our generation, and far more adept than we think. During the epidemic, BANZ used big data to sketch students' learning process and created an "adaptive" learning system for students. It can be said that BANZ has entered the era of computational education. Big data and artificial intelligence make education more accurate, scientific and efficient.How to promote innovation and efficiency to a higher level is an unavoidable challenge for schools in the near future.
我們也常說技術可以代替保姆,但不能代替母愛。教育永恒不變的是愛,這也就是無論課程內容、校區(qū)分布、教學理念怎樣變化,BANZ的使命和價值永恒不變 “Loving hearts educate loving souls, Education starts with love,愛是教育的靈魂、有愛就有教育”。教育的過程不是一桶水把一杯水注滿,而是一簇火焰把一群火把點燃。
We often say that technology can replace a nanny, but not a mother's love. What is constant in education is love, which means that no matter how the curriculum content, the distribution of campuses, and the teaching philosophy change, BANZ's mission and values are eternal "Loving hearts educate loving souls, Education starts with love, love is the soul of education". The process of education is not a pail of water to fill a glass, but a cluster of flames to light a group of torches.
柏校長寄語
教育是連接現在與未來,連接過去與未來的樞紐。所有的理論、技術、夢想、目標,迄今為止大多還是通過學校轉化為現實的。因此學校的變革牽動著每一個孩子,每一個家長。
Education is the hub that connects the past, the present and the future. All theories, technologies, dreams, and goals have so far mostly been converted into reality through school education. Therefore, the change of the school affects every child and their family.
越是技術迭代,亂花漸欲迷人眼的時候,我們越是應該堅持以父母心辦教育,打造有溫度、有愛、有追求的、富有責任心和同理心的教育。
The more iteration of technology, the more we should adhere to the parents' heart to do education, to create a learning community that is full of warmth ,caring, responsibility and empathy.
