當(dāng)?shù)貢r(shí)間19日，以總理內(nèi)塔尼亞胡在社交媒體上發(fā)布的視頻中說(shuō)，以色列將接管整個(gè)加沙地帶。
今年1月，以色列和哈馬斯達(dá)成加沙地帶停火協(xié)議，但第二階段?；鹫勁羞t遲未能推進(jìn)。以方以哈馬斯拒絕接受美國(guó)政府提出的后續(xù)停火方案和釋放以方被扣押人員為由，自3月18日起恢復(fù)對(duì)加沙地帶大規(guī)模空襲及地面行動(dòng)，行動(dòng)范圍隨后不斷擴(kuò)大。以國(guó)防軍5月16日晚發(fā)表聲明說(shuō)，以軍在為進(jìn)一步擴(kuò)大軍事行動(dòng)做準(zhǔn)備。
