In the urban renewal area near Manipal University in Jaipur, India, Allure Salon has redefined the design paradigm of community beauty spaces with a unique spatial experiment. This salon, built by Sawai Design Studio, cleverly combines industrial elements with exquisite luxury, tailoring a "urban style laboratory" for young customers that is both visually impactful and full of a comfortable atmosphere.

在印度齋浦爾馬尼帕爾大學附近的城市更新區域，Allure Salon 以一場別開生面的空間實驗，重新定義了社區美業空間的設計范式。這座由 Sawai Design Studio 打造的沙龍，巧妙融合工業元素與精致奢華，為年輕客群量身定制了一個既具視覺沖擊力又充滿舒適氛圍的 “城市風格實驗室”。

The design is based on the deep sea blue "Stormy Ocean", which is like injecting a calm background into the space. The wall is made of micro-cement, and its matte texture weakens the color boundary, making the dark blue tone present a deep sense of layering. In sharp contrast, the bright yellow soft furnishings are embellished - the curved sofa in the waiting area, the drawer panel of the nail table, and the modeling lamps in front of the mirror, all use highly saturated yellow to activate the mood of the space, just like a school of tropical fish leaping in the deep sea, echoing the vitality of the young customer base.

設計以 “Stormy Ocean” 深海藍為主色調，如同為空間注入沉穩的底色。墻面采用微水泥材質，其啞光質感弱化了色彩邊界，使深藍色調呈現出深邃的層次感。與之形成鮮明對比的是明黃色的軟裝點綴 —— 等候區的弧形沙發、美甲臺的抽屜面板、鏡前的造型燈具，皆以高飽和度的黃色激活空間情緒，宛如深海中躍動的熱帶魚群，呼應著年輕客群的活力特質。

Geometric lines become an important carrier of color narrative: the ceiling uses black metal lines to outline an irregular diamond grid, and the floor is divided into functional areas with brass inlays. These lines form a neat visual cut on the dark blue background, which not only strengthens the coolness of the industrial style, but also avoids the monotony of the space through changes in proportion.

幾何線條成為色彩敘事的重要載體：天花板以黑色金屬線條勾勒出不規則的菱形網格，地面則用黃銅嵌條劃分功能區域，這些線條在深藍背景上形成利落的視覺切割，既強化了工業風的冷峻感，又通過比例變化避免了空間的單調。

Entering the salon, the suspended reception desk first catches your eye. The tabletop supported by a metal frame is in an irregular trapezoidal shape, with a transparent acrylic plate underneath to create a sense of suspension. The background wall is embedded with a gradient light strip, which looks like a floating neon installation when lit at night. To the right of the reception desk is an open manicure area, with bar-style high-legged chairs and rotatable mirrors, which not only facilitates communication among customers, but also serves as a "living advertisement" for the street-facing window. Passersby can observe the manicure process through the large glass windows, forming a natural visual diversion.

踏入沙龍，懸空的接待臺首先抓住視線 —— 金屬框架支撐的臺面呈不規則梯形，下方以透明亞克力板營造懸浮感，背景墻嵌入漸變燈帶，夜間亮起時宛如漂浮的霓虹裝置。接待臺右側是開放式美甲區，吧臺式的高腳座椅搭配可旋轉鏡面，既方便顧客交流，又成為臨街櫥窗的 “活廣告”，路過行人可透過大面積玻璃窗觀察美甲過程，形成天然的視覺引流。

The central styling area is the "heart" of the space. 12 groups of barber booths are arranged in an arc shape. The metal mirror partition hanging above is the design highlight: the MDF substrate is cut into a wavy outline, and the outer layer is wrapped with an aluminum frame. The mirror is installed at an angle to form multi-angle reflection, which not only avoids the embarrassment of customers looking at each other, but also enhances the sense of depth of the space through the superposition of mirror images. The granite countertop is both beautiful and practical. Its natural texture forms a material collision with the dark blue wall, and its wear-resistant properties are suitable for high-frequency use needs.

中央造型區是空間的 “心臟”，12 組理發位呈弧形排列，上方懸掛的金屬鏡面隔斷成為設計亮點：MDF 基板切割出波浪形輪廓，外層以鋁制邊框包裹，鏡面通過斜角安裝形成多角度反射，既避免了顧客對視的尷尬，又通過鏡像疊加增強空間縱深感?；◢弾r臺面的操作臺兼具美觀與實用，其天然紋理與深藍色墻面形成材質碰撞，耐磨特性則適配高頻使用需求。

In contrast to the open area is the private space at the rear: the shower area adopts a sunken design, the floor is paved with non-slip volcanic rock tiles, and the ceiling is decorated with flexible light strips to create a starlight effect. The lying posture when washing your hair combined with the dim light creates a relaxing experience similar to SPA. The beauty room and massage room are separated by a Changhong glass door. The light-transmitting but not transparent feature ensures privacy, and the brass handle on the door adds an artistic feel with its abstract human curve shape.

與開放區形成對比的是后方的私密空間：淋浴區采用下沉式設計，地面鋪設防滑火山巖瓷磚，頂部以柔性燈帶營造星光效果，洗頭時的躺臥姿勢配合昏暗光線，營造出近似 SPA 的放松體驗；美容室與按摩間以長虹玻璃門分隔，透光不透視的特性保證隱私，門上的黃銅拉手則以抽象的人體曲線造型增添藝術感。

The design team reconstructed the industrial aesthetics through a mix of "roughness and refinement": the original cement columns were left exposed, and the surface was treated with acid to present a mottled texture, forming a "new and old dialogue" with the white latex paint on the ceiling; water pipes, wires and other equipment pipelines were not hidden, but were uniformly sprayed with dark gray anti-rust paint, turning into three-dimensional decorative lines in the space. At the same time, the exquisite treatment of details dissipated the coldness of the industrial style - the carpet in the waiting area is made of gradient blue wool material, which is soft to the touch; the front light of the mirror is designed with a magnetic suction type with a soft light screen, and the light is even and not dazzling; even the armrests of the barber chair are wrapped in skin-friendly PU leather, finding a precise balance between visual style and user experience.

設計團隊通過 “粗糲與細膩的混搭” 重構工業美學：原始水泥柱保留裸露狀態，表面經酸洗處理呈現斑駁質感，與天花的白色乳膠漆形成 “新舊對話”；水管、電線等設備管線未做隱藏，而是統一噴涂深灰色防銹漆，化作空間中的立體裝飾線條。與此同時，細節處的精致處理消解了工業風的冷峻 —— 等候區的地毯采用漸變藍的羊毛材質，觸感柔軟；鏡前燈選用帶柔光屏的磁吸式設計，光線均勻不刺眼；甚至連理發椅的扶手都包裹了親膚的 PU 皮革，在視覺風格與使用體驗間找到精準平衡。

Driven by the needs of the younger customer base around Manipal University, Allure Salon goes beyond the functional scope of traditional hair salons. It is not only a social venue for styling check-ins - the neon background wall in the nail art area has become a photo spot for internet celebrities, and the multi-angle mirrors in the styling area are convenient for customers to take pictures of their results immediately; it is also a pressure relief valve for urban life - the "micro-vacation" experience in the sunken shower area makes haircutting no longer a task to be completed in a hurry, but a short break from the daily life. As the designer said: "We hope that everyone who walks in can meet a more individual self in the collision of dark blue and bright yellow."

在 Manipal 大學周邊年輕化客群的需求驅動下，Allure Salon 超越了傳統美發店的功能范疇。這里既是造型打卡的社交場 —— 美甲區的霓虹背景墻成為網紅拍照點，造型區的多角度鏡面方便顧客即時拍攝成果；也是都市生活的減壓閥 —— 下沉式淋浴區的 “微度假” 體驗，讓剪發不再是匆匆完成的任務，而是可短暫抽離日常的心靈休憩。正如設計師所言：“我們希望每個走進來的人，都能在深藍與明黃的碰撞中，遇見更具個性的自己?！?/p>

From the precise calculation of colors, materials and lighting, to the planning of traffic lines from open areas to private spaces, Allure Salon uses the design language of industrial luxury to provide a model of "style is traffic" for commercial spaces around campuses. Here, haircuts and manicures are no longer simple consumer behaviors, but a dual adventure of self-expression and spatial experience.

從色彩、材質到燈光的精密計算，從開放區到私密空間的動線規劃，Allure Salon 以工業輕奢的設計語言，為校園周邊商業空間提供了 “風格即流量” 的范本。在這里，理發、美甲不再是簡單的消費行為，而是一場關于自我表達與空間體驗的雙重冒險。
