據知名記者羅馬諾的消息，利物浦、勒沃庫森和維爾茨已簽署了轉會的所有文件。

根據此前的報道，利物浦為這筆轉會支付了1.4億歐元的轉會費(含可實現的獎金)，若取得重大成就(如贏得歐冠)，還可能再支付1000萬歐元，維爾茨將簽下一份至2030年的合同，年薪在2000萬至2200萬歐元之間。
