喬-普倫蒂師從波波維奇，在圣安東尼奧開始執教生涯后，曾在獨行俠、開拓者、騎士、籃網、雄鹿、太陽、老鷹等隊擔任助教。
普倫蒂還曾在老鷹和雄鹿擔任過臨時主教練。
