澎湃新聞獲悉，原中央黨史研究室主任孫英因病醫治無效，于2025年7月6日在北京逝世，享年89歲。
孫英，男，漢族，1936年11月出生，天津市寶坻人，1956年12月加入中國共產黨，1958年6月參加工作，山西師范學院（現山西大學）歷史系畢業，大學學歷，研究員。曾任共青團山西省委副書記，山西省委常委、太原市委書記，甘肅省委副書記、甘肅省省長，甘肅省委書記，中央黨史研究室主任等職。
