Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.This is Jason. I’m glad to be here to deliver a speech. I’m trying to make a formal conclusion for this English learning journey.

　　女士們、先生們，晚上好。我是Jason。很高興能在這里發(fā)表演講。我想為這段英語學習之旅做一個正式的總結。

　　At the beginning, I have a question for you. If you had to summarize the whole learning process, which word would you choose? My answer is varied, my journey was along with ups and downs.

　　一開始，我有個問題想問大家。如果要你總結整個學習過程，你會選哪個詞?我的答案是“跌宕起伏”，我的學習之旅充滿了起起落落。

　　The first lesson began at November 18th, 2023. And now is March, 2025. I couldn’t image how big progress I’ve made. Especially when seeing my friends struggling on the translation class, I am really proud of my decision to study here.

　　我的第一堂課始于2023年11月18日。如今是2025年3月。我都不敢想象自己取得了多大的進步。尤其是看到朋友們在翻譯課上苦苦掙扎時，我真的為自己來這里學習的決定感到自豪。

　　Even today, I still very missed the A1 lesson, which is tired but thrilled. I acquired a lot of friends and built the solid foundation there. And it’s the only offline lesson. Even though it took me an hour to get there by subway from school, which is exhausting, I believe it’s worth it. No matter presentation, acting show or OMF are quite challenging, arousing my interest of learning English. At the last lesson of A1, we sat around, expressing our appreciation and reluctance. Some of us had dinner together, continuing the talk. But the grief of separation was beyond our words.

　　即便在今天，我依然十分懷念A1階段的課程，雖然累但很刺激。在那里，我結識了很多朋友，也打下了堅實的基礎。而且那是唯一一段線下課程。盡管從學校坐地鐵去上課要花一個小時，非常累人，但我覺得這一切都是值得的。無論是課堂展示、表演秀還是“一分鐘演講”(OMF)都很有挑戰(zhàn)性，激發(fā)了我學習英語的興趣。在A1階段的最后一節(jié)課上，我們圍坐在一起，表達著感激與不舍。我們中的一些人還一起吃了晚餐，繼續(xù)聊天。但離別的悲傷難以言表。

　　As I got used to the class, A2 lesson seemed smooth and relaxing. I was fairly lucky to meet great teachers again even if I suffered a bit problem adapting the online lesson. At the A2 level, I became the captain of our group, which was my first time to take this responsibility. And I still remember that our group got the most red packets during the Spring Festival, although mine is little. We usually shared some moments in our group while pushing each other to practice English every day.

　　隨著我逐漸適應了課程，A2階段的學習似乎一帆風順，輕松愜意。盡管在適應線上課程時遇到了一些小問題，但我很幸運又遇到了很棒的老師。在A2階段，我第一次擔任了小組組長。我還記得春節(jié)期間我們組搶到的紅包最多，雖然我搶到的不多。我們經(jīng)常在小組里分享生活點滴，同時督促彼此每天練習英語。

　　And then, I encountered some difficulties. I felt tired and lost my energy to keep going. I couldn't be as energetic as I used to be. Maybe it was because of the time, I thought I could stay awake at 8 am, but I didn't. Or due to the surroundings, I need to move to the canteen so that I wouldn’t bother my roommates. But I was too shy to speak out at the first floor, where many people stay, so I got onto the second floor. It was so dark and hot that sleepiness overwhelmed me. In addition, under the pressure of test, I decided to stop, to give me a period of time to deal with assignment and adjust myself. Therefor, I drifted apart with those friends I’ve met on A level.

　　然而，后來我遇到了一些困難。我感到疲憊不堪，失去了繼續(xù)前行的動力。我不像以前那樣精力充沛了。也許是因為時間的原因，我本以為自己能在早上8點保持清醒，但事實并非如此。又或許是周圍環(huán)境的影響，我需要搬到食堂去學習，以免打擾室友。但在一樓有很多人，我太害羞不敢大聲開口，所以我去了二樓。那里又黑又熱，困意陣陣襲來。此外，在考試的壓力下，我決定暫停學習，給自己一些時間完成作業(yè)并調(diào)整狀態(tài)。因此，我和在A階段結識的朋友們漸漸疏遠了。

　　Fortunately, when I came back several months later, there were another group of kind people, so I was into that class very soon. Actually, the B level course was a quiet phase. It’s hard to see the same kind of breakthrough as in A1, and sometimes I can’t help thinking I was stuck in the same place. However, I indeed improved step by step. For example, I no longer feel nervous during impromptu speeches because I’ve had plenty of casual conversations in class.

　　幸運的是，幾個月后我回來時，遇到了另一群友善的人，所以我很快就融入了那個班級。實際上，B階段的課程是一段平穩(wěn)發(fā)展的時期。很難像在A1階段那樣取得重大突破，有時我甚至會覺得自己停滯不前。然而，我確實在一步步地進步。比如，我在即興演講時不再緊張，因為在課堂上有很多隨意交流的機會。

　　The numerous speaking opportunities have made speaking English more natural to me. Activities like News broadcasts, Toastmasters, Debates, and Model United Nations each provide a chance to practice English while expressing my own thoughts. Among these, I enjoy the life simulation the most. It has led me to rethink what I truly want, what I could abandon and what matters most in my life. Not only does the class teach me English, but it also encourages me to consider things from different perspectives and think deeper.

　　大量的口語練習讓我說英語變得更加自然。新聞播報、演講會、辯論和模擬聯(lián)合國等活動，既給了我練習英語的機會，又能讓我表達自己的想法。在這些活動中，我最喜歡生活模擬活動。它讓我重新思考自己真正想要的是什么，哪些是可以舍棄的，以及生活中最重要的是什么。這個課程不僅教會了我英語，還鼓勵我從不同的角度看待事物，進行更深入的思考。

　　Time is like a river, slipping away smoothly and quietly when I haven’t realized. Despite I suspended again last semester, I am going to graduate from CEFR now.

　　時間如流水，在我不知不覺中悄然流逝。盡管上學期我又暫停了學習，但我現(xiàn)在即將從歐洲共同語言參考框架(CEFR)課程畢業(yè)。

　　When we first met, I don’t want to be popular, I just want to be a guy in the corner that no one knows. But your devotion and energy made me surprised, along with a little flatter. I haven’t imaged that there would be a class like this, you are encouraged to express anything in class and the first lesson is to teach you don’t be afraid of making mistakes.

　　我們剛相識的時候，我不想引人注目，只想做一個無人知曉的角落里的人。但你們的熱忱和活力讓我感到驚訝，還有些受寵若驚。我從未想過會有這樣的課程，在這里鼓勵大家在課堂上暢所欲言，第一節(jié)課就教大家不要害怕犯錯。

　　All you could find here are friends, positivity and passion. The teachers here have the rare ability to make people feel truly seen, and they did the same for me. It was their support and relentless optimism that gave me the courage to start opening myself and finally led me to a nice guy.

　　在這里，你能收獲的只有朋友、積極向上的態(tài)度和熱情。這里的老師有一種難得的能力，能讓學生真正感受到被關注，他們對我也是如此。正是他們的支持和始終如一的樂觀態(tài)度，讓我有勇氣開始敞開心扉，最終成為一個更好的人。

　　In the end, I think what I am trying to say is thanks for everything.
