One health article I read recently really caught my attention. It was about how poor sleep habits can affect mental health, and I came across it while browsing the Health section of BBC News online.

我最近讀到的一篇健康文章真的引起了我的注意。它講的是糟糕的睡眠習慣如何影響心理健康，我是在 BBC 新聞的“健康”欄目里看到的。

The title was something like “Why Sleep Is the Missing Piece in Mental Wellbeing”, and it instantly resonated with me because I’d been struggling with sleep myself due to stress and overthinking. I clicked on it mainly out of curiosity, but also because I was hoping to find some practical tips.

標題大概是《為什么睡眠是心理健康中缺失的一環》，這個標題立刻引起了我的共鳴，因為我自己也因為壓力和胡思亂想，睡眠狀況不好。我點進去一方面是出于好奇，另一方面也希望能找到一些實用建議。

The article was really well-written and backed by solid research. It explained how a lack of quality sleep can not only affect your mood, but also increase your risk of anxiety and depression. What stood out to me the most was the fact that even one or two nights of poor sleep can disrupt your brain’s emotional balance. That hit close to home for me.

這篇文章寫得很好，而且有科學研究做支持。它講了缺乏高質量睡眠不僅會影響情緒，還會增加患焦慮和抑郁的風險。最讓我印象深刻的是，就算只是一兩晚沒睡好，也會打亂大腦的情緒平衡。這一點我感同身受。

After reading it, I actually felt more aware of how badly I had been treating my body. I started paying more attention to my sleep hygiene — like cutting down on screen time before bed and going to sleep at the same time every night. Surprisingly, after just a week, I felt much better both physically and mentally.

讀完后，我突然意識到自己以前真的對身體太不負責任了。我開始更加注意“睡眠衛生”，比如睡前少刷手機，每天同一時間上床睡覺。意外的是，堅持一周后，我的身體和心理狀態都好多了。

Overall, I thought it was a super insightful read. It didn’t just inform me — it motivated me to make some much-needed changes.

總之，我覺得這篇文章不僅增長了知識，更重要的是，它促使我做出了一些必要的改變。
