5月23日，有網友反映，浙江寧波余姚市姚北實驗學校食堂的絞肉機中有大量蠕動的活蛆。目前，寧波市教育局已派出工作組赴余姚開展緊急處置工作，據余姚市聯合調查組發布通報顯示：

5月23日中午，接學生家長反映“姚北實驗學校食堂絞肉機內有蛆蟲”的情況。當日，姚北實驗學校教育集團崇文校區（小學部）家長陪餐時，家長進入食堂后廚發現一絞肉機內有蛆蟲。經初步調查，家長反映絞肉機內有蛆蟲的情況屬實，系該絞肉機在上次使用后未按要求及時規范清洗導致。

On Friday, an incident involving live maggots in a meat grinder at a school canteen in Yuyao city, Zhejiang province, sparked public concern and prompted immediate action from local authorities.

According to reports from parents, the issue was discovered at Yaobei Experimental School's Chongwen Campus (Primary School Division) during a parent accompaniment session in the school canteen. Parents who entered the kitchen noticed a significant number of squirming maggots inside a meat grinder.

In response, the Ningbo Municipal Education Bureau dispatched a task force to Yuyao for emergency handling. A joint investigation team from Yuyao city confirmed the validity of the complaints, attributing the infestation to the meat grinder's failure to undergo proper cleaning after its last use.

目前，學校已對食堂進行全面消殺、清理。同時，余姚市將依法依規開展全面調查，對違反校園食品安全的行為和相關責任人進行嚴肅處理。

Authorities stated that the school has since conducted a comprehensive disinfection and cleanup of the canteen. Further investigations are underway to determine accountability for the hygiene lapse. "We will strictly address violations of campus food safety protocols and hold responsible parties accountable in accordance with laws and regulations," the investigation team emphasized in a public notice.
