IT之家 6 月 14 日消息，索尼在前幾年對旗下PS Plus會員實施漲價，引發一系列爭議，以港服為例，今年4月16日后Basic基本會員每月62 港幣（IT之家注：現匯率約合 56.7 元人民幣），Premium 會員每月93 港幣（現匯率約合 85.1 元人民幣），Extra 會員每月 110 港幣（現匯率約合 101 元人民幣）。
而索尼互娛 CEO 西野英明在最新的投資者會議上表示，目前PlayStation Plus會員訂閱數量仍保持良好勢頭，其中PlayStation高階會員（Premium 和 Extra 檔）占比已達 38%，即使是會員實施漲價，用戶仍持續向高階服務遷移，證明“服務價值提升獲得認可”。
外媒 TugaTech 認為，后續索尼還有可能對PlayStation Plus 進一步實施漲價，相應會員漲價趨勢與主機硬件價格攀升同步，作為比較，PS5 數字版在歐洲已漲至 499 歐元（現匯率約合 4138 元人民幣）、PS5 Pro 則漲至 799 歐元（現匯率約合 6626 元人民幣）。
