發熱的臨床分度，一般以口腔溫度為標準。口腔溫度超過39℃就算高熱了，超過41℃已經是超高熱了。若家長測量的是耳溫，則和口腔溫度相當。若家長測量的是腋溫，一般比口溫低0.2-0.3度。
具體可參照發熱程度分級（口溫）
·低熱：37-38℃
·中等度發熱：38.1-39℃
·高熱：39.1-41℃
·超高熱：41℃以上
