A polo-playing pal of Prince William has died after reportedly swallowing a bee mid-match, triggering a fatal heart attack.

Sunjay Kapur, 53, a well-known Indian billionaire and chairman of global car parts giant Sona Comstar, collapsed while playing polo in England on Thursday.

卡普爾在賽事途中突然倒地。目擊者告訴當地媒體，卡普爾在倒下前曾說：“我吞了什么東西。”另一位知情人士描述：“他原本還神采奕奕、談笑風生，卻在一瞬間離開人世。”

Witnesses initially said that he was heard to have said "I've swallowed something," prompting assumptions that he may have ingested an insect.

Reports suggested he was stung by a bee in the mouth, potentially sparking anaphylactic shock and causing a heart attack.

卡普爾出身于商業世家，身家高達12億美元（約人民幣86億元）。2015年父親去世后，他接管Sona Comstar公司并推動全球化擴張，在印度、中國、墨西哥、塞爾維亞和美國設立研發與制造基地。

卡普爾和威廉王子因馬球結緣，2人私交甚篤。而卡普爾不僅是企業領袖，也曾因和印度寶萊塢明星卡波爾的婚姻而聞名，2人育有1子1女，但在2016年離婚。

卡普爾先生的一位朋友在接受采訪時表示：“大家都會很想念他，不光是家人朋友，還有俱樂部周圍的社區。他雇用了很多人，也結交了許多朋友。他風趣、善良又慷慨。”

A friend of Mr Kapur's told Telegraph Sport: "He will be greatly missed not only by his family and friends but the local community around his club as he employed so many people and made so many friends – he was fun, kind and generous."

只有少數人會對蜂蜇迅速產生嚴重過敏反應，也就是過敏性休克，必須立即接受急救治療。當過敏反應發生時，可能出現呼吸困難、失去意識，以及惡心、嘔吐或腹瀉等癥狀，恐危及生命。
