6月17日，大象新聞報道山東省多家游戲廳，涉嫌設立賭博機吸引玩家賭博。報道發出后第二天，記者再次探訪涉事游戲廳發現，游戲廳深處已處于關燈關機狀態。
6月19日，記者從東營市東營區文化和旅游局處了解到，目前，文旅局和公安部門，已對現場涉事設備拆除封存，對反映出來的問題也予以立案調查，后續會根據調查情況依法依規進行處理。
