公安部刑偵局政委姜國利7月23日在國新辦舉行的“高質量完成‘十四五’規劃”系列主題新聞發布會上介紹，“十四五”期間全國公安機關共破獲電信網絡詐騙案件173.9萬起，抓獲犯罪嫌疑人36.6萬名，其中包括詐騙集團幕后“金主”、頭目和骨干3442名。
