Introduction
It is true that going vegan has gained rising popularity due to concerns over health, religion or animal welfare. While meat flesh could be unwanted for certain groups of people, I would doubt that a meatless diet is applicable to anyone.
? unwanted adj.
? applicable adj.
Body paragraph 1
There are three key reasons why good health could be maintained without consuming beef, chicken or fish. Firstly, people with heart diseases, high cholesterol or diabetes may improve their cardiovascular health and blood sugar control, if they abandon meat-centric diets and switch to plant-based counterparts. Secondly, easy access to nutrition knowledge enables lacto-ovo-vegetarians to meet requirements of protein through legumes, almonds, eggs and dairy products rather than processed meats. Finally, widespread use of food supplements could be used to optimize vegan diets. For example, well-planned vegan dishes for elderly people usually involve additional intake of protein, iron, zinc, calcium and B12.
? high cholesterol n.
? diabetes n.
? cardiovascular adj.

Body paragraph 2
Although the above-mentioned is a rosy scenario, it is virtually a long shot for everyone to try. First thing to remember, poorly-managed foods planning is bound to elicit deficiencies in omega-3s, iron and other essential nutrients. That unbalanced eating could translate into rising health issues, notably for children, pregnant women and the frail seniors. Perhaps another unintended health issue relates to overuse of processed plants-based junk food; aiming for meat-alike texture and flavor, various chemicals and additives are used to produce faux meat, potentially negating health benefits. Alternatively, a full exclusion of meat flesh could lead to cultural loss due to many traditional cuisines—such as sushi and cheese—could be wiped out.
? a long shot 不太可能成功的嘗試
? translate into 轉變為
? wiped out 消失/ 去除v.
Conclusion
In conclusion, it is now anticipated that meat-free diets could be predominantly pervasive in many countries, but the original meat-involved dishes still apply; in any event, the choice of what to eat remains a personal freedom—shaped by culture, health, ethics and individual preference.
