微軟計劃將 Visual Studio Code (VS Code) 打造為一款開源 AI 編輯器。
作為此計劃的一部分，GitHub Copilot Chat 擴(kuò)展中的代碼將以 MIT 許可證開源，并逐步將其相關(guān)組件重構(gòu)到 VS Code 核心中。
微軟認(rèn)為，大型語言模型的進(jìn)步、AI 交互用戶體驗的普及、開源 AI 工具生態(tài)的興起、對數(shù)據(jù)收集透明度的需求以及應(yīng)對惡意行為者攻擊的必要性，是此時開源的幾大動因。
開源后，社區(qū)將能更容易地構(gòu)建、調(diào)試和測試 AI 相關(guān)擴(kuò)展，并審查數(shù)據(jù)收集情況。
微軟還將開源其提示測試基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施，以確保社區(qū)貢獻(xiàn)的PR能夠構(gòu)建并通過測試。
