"Global Governance and Leadership Talent Development for 2050"

On November 4, 2024, Renmin University of China (RUC) announced the establishment of the nation's first School of Global Leadership. The school is committed to “global engagement”, “first-class” and “future-oriented”, driven by the strategic needs of China. It aims to cultivate high-caliber talents both domestically and internationally, develop innovative opening-up mechanisms for high-level education, actively foster future-oriented global leaders, build a world-class leadership development center, and establish a high-end international cooperation platform for global governance, thus contributing new strategies for the comprehensive development of humanity and society. On this background, Renmin University of China will host the inaugural Global Leadership Forum on May 22, 2025, to release relevant research reports and books, and invite distinguished guests from China and abroad to jointly explore how to cultivate more future-oriented global leaders who can meet the needs of the times for both world and China in the digital and AI era.
