IT之家 5 月 25 日消息，《鬼泣 5》是由卡普空于 2019 年 3 月發售的一款動作冒險游戲，后來在 2020 年 11 月推出了光追 & 120Hz 的《鬼泣 5：特別版》，同時加入維吉爾作為可玩角色。
卡普空在“白金作品”頁面宣布《鬼泣 5》銷量已突破 1000 萬套，包括 910 萬份原版游戲和 100 萬份特別版游戲。
IT之家注意到，卡普空上個月為了慶祝《鬼泣》動畫上線宣布《鬼泣 5》在 Steam 開啟新史低（-75%）促銷，國區標準版+ 維吉爾僅需 37 元，豪華版 + 維吉爾同樣新史低 49.5 元，好評率 96%。
